Mysore Pak
is a delicious sweet which is mostly prepared during festivals. As the name
suggests it originated from the city of Mysore in Karnataka. The sweet
was invented in the year 1935 by the chef of Amba Vilas palace, Kakasura
Madappa. It is prepared using mainly three ingredients Gram Flour, Ghee &
Sugar. Its texture looks like buttery and once we eat it melts. It is one of
the signature sweet of Karnataka.
